It all started back in early April 2012. Four guys brought together by one crazy idea. Complete the 260 mile Texas Water Safari. So, in June 2012, it was accomplished. Team Cuatro Sinko would add another two members to form Team Cuatro Sinko Seis and go on to complete TWS 2013 in a 40 foot long, 500 pound, aluminum canoe.
I suppose that the river is like a drug and being on it with your good friends is the addiction.
Our next goal: The Colorado River Odyssey. A series of missions to complete the ultimate task of paddling all 862 miles of the Texas Colorado River from source to mouth. We hope to complete this in our lifetime and move on to other rivers, but for now we’re just going to enjoy the ride. The rules are simple: Paddle the length of the river, piece by piece as we see fit. Have fun. Enjoy life, unplug for a bit and enjoy nature.
